They would only be required to meet the current two-year residential qualifying period provided they apply for citizenship within three years of commencement of the new Act.

该修改法案可望在众议院修改后由总督颁布在7月1日实施，如果在这之前入境成为PR，还可以按照现有法案规定的两年时间入籍，但必须在新法案实施的三年内提出申请。# l/ D/ I3 Y# ~; C* f; `
